Adult Modern

Class Description


The Modern dance class offers an organic and less formalized approach. Emphasis is placed on moving in an anatomically correct manner, as well as using gravity to create a sense of weight and movement. Modern classes at MVSB are drawn from the Lester Horton and Bill Evans traditions. Adult classes are geared toward the first time dancer.

Please note that participation in this class does not qualify students for family or multi-class discounts on this, or other, classes.
