Modern

Class Description

The Modern dance class offers an organic and less formalized approach. Emphasis is placed on moving in an anatomically correct manner, as well as using gravity to create a sense of weight and movement. Modern classes at MVSB are drawn from the Lester Horton and Bill Evans traditions.

Modern (Fall Only)		 Thursdays
3:30 - 4:30pm
 This class meets in the Fall Semester only. Enrollment subject to Teacher approval.


Modern A		 Wednesdays
6:30 - 7:30pm
 Students should turn 9 by January 31st. This class meets in the spring Semester only.


Modern B		 Wednesdays
7:30 - 9:00pm
 Enrollment subject to Teacher approval. Students should be in the 7th Grade and up. This class meets in the spring Semester only.


Uniform
